Our Team
John Inazu
Founder & Program DirectorJohn Inazu is the Sally D. Danforth Distinguished Professor of Law and Religion at Washington University in St. Louis.
He is the author of Learning to Disagree: The Surprising Path to Navigating Differences with Empathy and Respect (Zondervan, 2024), Liberty's Refuge: The Forgotten Freedom of Assembly (Yale University Press, 2012) and Confident Pluralism: Surviving and Thriving Through Deep Difference (University of Chicago Press, 2016). He is co-editor (with Tim Keller) of Uncommon Ground: Living Faithfully in a World of Difference (Thomas Nelson, 2020).
John is the founder of The Carver Project and the Legal Vocation Fellowship, a Senior Fellow with the Trinity Forum, and a Senior Fellow with Interfaith America, where he co-directs (with Eboo Patel) the Newbigin Fellows and Evangelicals in a Diverse Democracy.
Chief Operating OfficerEden Sung is the Chief Operating Officer of the Legal Vocation Fellowship.
Prior to her work with the Legal Vocation Fellowship, Eden practiced in antitrust and appellate litigation at two major international law firms in Washington, D.C. Eden was also a former fellow of the first LVF cohort – and brings that experience to bear in her role for fellows.
Eden spends her time invested in her local church, and volunteering with local DC organizations aimed at addressing homelessness such as Love in Action DC and Friendship Place. She is also Board Treasurer of Capital Clubhouse, Inc., a local DC nonprofit working to improve health, increase opportunity, and end isolation for people with mental illness.
